Trucks sit by the entrance of the Channel Tunnel in Calais, France. Last night more than 2,200 migrants attempted to break into the tunnel entrance in an effort to get to Britain - 31.4 miles away via the underwater passage. This is the latest incident in an ongoing crisis in Europe where an estimated 100,000 migrants have entered the continent to flee violence and poverty in neighboring regions.
