Scattered solar panels make up an array in South Harrison Township, New Jersey, USA. Solar power in New Jersey has grown significantly in the last decade, due in part to a standard which requires 22.5% of the state’s electricity to come from renewable resources by 2021. As of 2018, New Jersey has the sixth-largest installed solar capacity of all U.S. states, and the largest capacity in the northeastern part of the country.
